Do you know how the meditation chakra is? There are seven main chakras or energy centers in the human body. Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel”. The chakras are similar to wheels in that they are spinning eddies of energy. They are powerhouses located within your body, where you receive, transmit, and process life energy. Chakra meditation is useful for Chakra Healing to aligning and balancing your energies.

Chakra meditation begins by sitting in a comfortable position with your back straight but not tense. Then focus on each part of your body. Starting from your feet to the tip of your head. As you do this, relax that body part and let the stress melt away.

Focus on the breath
The next step in chakra meditation is to focus on the breath. Don’t force it, but let the breath become steady and deep. If your mind is distracted, try to return to the breath and maintain focus on each inhalation and exhalation you take. Imagine oxygen going into the lungs and flowing into the bloodstream. Imagine it could nourish all the muscles, organs and cells of your body and then be able to flush out the toxins from your body which are expelled with every breath.

Visualize heart rate and body functions while doing chakra meditation
See how all the pieces work together in harmony. See how the breath sustains all these parts and the body as a whole. Realize how breath is the life-giving force of your entire body.

Imagine life too like energy
Next in chakra meditation, you have to imagine life can give you energy from the air you breathe. See this energy as a yellowish-orange color. Imagine this energy covering your entire body and permeating your aura. As this energy approaches your aura, imagine the aura growing stronger, brighter and being filled with this incredible energy. Do this step gradually, allowing the aura to grow brighter little by little and keeping this energy flowing with every breath you take.
